Summary

This Plan addresses the social consequences and key challenges arising from the green transition in Sweden, particularly in the building and transport sectors. This Plan provides an overview of the planned measures and investments for the green transition, and describes measures and the associated costs for electric vehicles, energy efficiency, building renovation, and vulnerable households, amongst other measures.

The Plan will be implemented by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency. The intention is to use the EU's Social Climate Fund, designed to cushion the impact on those who may struggle the most from increased energy and fuel prices in the context of the EU's Emissions Trading System, to fund these measures.
