Long-term strategy for the renovation of the national building stock

Based on the requirements of the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Energy Performance of Buildings, Denmark has prepared and notified a <a href="https://ens.dk/media/583/download" target="_self">long-term renovation strategy for energy savings in the existing building stock</a> to the EU Commission on 10 March 2020. On 22 June 2021, Denmark notified <a href="https://ens.dk/media/585/download" target="_self">part 2 of the long-term renovation strategy to the EU Commission</a> . Part 2 contains, among other things, indicative interim targets for improving the efficiency of the building stock in 2030, 2040 and 2050 and a roadmap for achieving these targets.
The long-term renovation strategy consists of the following:

<li>Description of existing and known upcoming instruments in the energy renovation effort; and</li>
<li>Forward-looking efforts.</li>
