This Decree mandates the mixing of 50% biodiesel into all types of diesel fuel. Otherwise, petroleum and biofuel entities that fail to fulfil their obligations of blending and supply will be subject to administrative sanctions in the form of a written warning, temporary suspension and/or revocation of business licences. The implementation shall be evaluated by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources every three months.
