Summary

The objective of this project is to assist the Government of Namibia to prepare and submit its Second Biennial Transparency Report (BTR2) and a combined Sixth National Communication and Third Biennial Transparency Report (BTR3/NC6) for the fulfillment of its obligations under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Paris Agreement (PA) pursuant to Decision 5/CMA.3, and in accordance with the Modalities, Procedures and Guidelines (MPGs) for the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF) for action and support referred to in Article 13 of the PA contained in Decision 18/CMA.1 . The support for the preparation and submission of these reports will permit Namibia to inform the global stocktake of its contributions in the collective international efforts of Parties to address climate change and its impacts for the global benefits.
