The project aims to strengthen climate information and early warning systems in The Gambia and Tanzania by improving the generation, delivery, and use of climate data and services to enhance resilience and reduce vulnerability to climate-related hazards. It will modernize meteorological and hydrological infrastructure, establish multi-hazard early warning systems, and enhance institutional coordination across national and local levels. The project also promotes user-centered climate services for sectors such as agriculture, water, and disaster risk reduction, while ensuring accessibility of information to farmers, women, and youth.
