Transforming Communities: A Nexus of Climate-Smart Agriculture, Livelihood Diversification, and Women’s Economic Empowerment

The project aims to strengthen resilience to climate shocks (notably droughts and floods) by improving access to potable water and irrigation, scaling climate-smart agriculture and sustainable livestock practices, and reducing reliance on climate-sensitive livelihoods through diversification. It includes a strong gender lens, targeting women-headed households for productivity and food-security gains alongside greater participation in water management and income-generating activities.
