Seychelles 7th National Report. NR7 (2026)

To support twenty-five (25) developing countries in the preparation and submission of BTRs and combined BTR/National Communications (BTR/NCs) in a gender-responsive manner that aligns with the reporting requirements of the UNFCCC and the Paris Agreement (PA), while also addressing each country's unique national development priorities.

The Debt Guarantee Order on Renewable Energy Investment, S.I. 86 of 2025, makes the Seychelles government guarantor for a a development loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development to the Seychelles Public Utilities Corporation, the main parastatal electricity provider, promoting a USD $8,000,000 investment in grid upgrades for significant expansion of renewable energy generation.
