This Climate Action Plan was produced in accordance with the requirements set under the Climate Act (Sweden's climate framework law). The action plan must be submitted to Riksdag every four years, in line with the elections cycle. The plan contains around 70 proposals on emissions reductions, which have either been implemented or have started. According to the press release, there is a focus on electrification of indsutry and transport, international cooperation and economic growth.
